The name Boots is synonymous with retail pharmaceuticals due to the nationwide coverage of their chain of shops. Their main production site for pharmaceutical and cosmtic products is on the outskirts of Nottingham. The extent of the site means that modernisation of processes can be acheived by building on a free area, rather than rebuilding existing sections. This has resulted in a large area of buildings having been demolished, but for some reason this fine run of pipe bridges has remained.
Die Name Boots ist in den Inseln überall beruhmt wegen ihrer umfassenden Kette von Pharma-laden (Apothek und Kosmetik). Die wichtigste Produktionsanlage liegt am Rand der Grosstadt Nottingham. Da die Grundflache sehr breit ist, hat die Firma bei Modernisierung die Möglichkeit neu auf freier Flache zu bauen statt vorhandene Gebäude zu renovieren. Hier hat man also Brachflache; trotzdem ist allerdings aus unbekannten Grunden diese schöne Rohrbrücke noch vorhanden
